Here is a good security tip to stop you know who from lifting a patio door out of its tracks and gaining entry to your property, And could probably be done for less than a euro. The average patio door is approximately 40/ 50 mm thick . What you will need is a 4mm strip of metal narrower than the door which will fit into the channel above the door. Simply screw this strip of metal to the edge of the door where the lock is. Fix the strip of metal with self tapping screws to  the edge of the door below the channel making sure that the sliding door can still move on the rollers smoothly.
This strip of metal will stop the sliding door from being lifted out of its tracks , and allowing unwanted guests into your home.
